What is a Psychic Reading?
A psychic reading (or intuitive reading) is an energetic reading performed by a person trained in clairvoyance or clear seeing. The reader sees energy systems and pictures in your energetic space—which consists of your aura, body, and spirit. The reader will look at the energy and pictures around the current issues or questions that you bring to the reading. They'll tell you what they see, how it is effecting you, and why you are still looking at these pictures and operating from them.

Is it like Channeling?
No, your reader does not channel other beings for your reading.
What is a Healing?
At the end of the reading, a healing will be offered which will help facilitate resolution, move energetic blocks, and create space for change.
How long are the readings?
Readings vary from one-hour to full two-hour aura readings. Shorter readings on one issue are available by phone (typically 20-30 minutes). Typically, a one-hour reading will allow time for up to three issues or questions. Specialty readings, such as relationships, health, and money require a longer reading time.

Where do we meet?
Currently, readings are performed at Psychic Horizons: a School for Meditation in San Francisco's Mission District. Readings may also take place over the phone. Or, in your home or office (by prior arrangement only).
I'm nervous!
Don't be. Readings are performed in a safe environment and from a space of neutrality (non-judgment).
I may ask some pretty private stuff, and I'm wondering: is it awkward?
All readings are confidential. Your reader has conducted literally hundreds of readings. Your reader is there to help you with your issues—no matter what they are.
Some of the sensitive topics your reader has looked at include: sexual impotency, sexual identity, addiction, abuse, depression, personal trauma, health issues, financial reverses, and relationship issues.

What do I need to prepare for my reading?
Nothing. However, to get the most benefit from your reading, prepare up to three questions or issues you'd like to focus on.
What does a reading cost?
One-hour Readings are $100.00
One and a half hour Aura Readings $150.00
Specialty Readings $150.00
Business Readings $225.00
30-minute Phone Readings are $45.00
What happens during my reading?
The reading is very much like a one-on-one meeting with a counselor or friend. You will sit facing the reader. The reader will be in a meditative space, eyes closed. During your reading, the reader will look at the energy (seen in pictures) around the issues or questions you have presented. The reader will tell you what they see, and how these pictures are affecting you. They will look at the origin of these pictures, why you are choosing to continue to react to them, and whether you are ready to move these issues out (see Healings).

Can I record my reading?
Yes. However, we suggest that you wait at least two weeks after your reading to listen to the session again. This allows time for you to incorporate the information and healing on a spiritual and body level. The second time you listen to the recording, you will hear new information and receive a second healing.
Can I ask questions?
Absolutely! However, due to the time sensitivity of the reading, too many questions can be distracting and will affect the reading space.
Can I bring a friend?
Readings are private experiences. Please ask in advance if you'd like to have a friend or loved one join you at the reading. There is space for a friend to accompany you and wait outside the reading room for you.

I want a reading for my child or friend in trauma. How would that work?
Readings for a child or a friend or family member in crisis can be conducted as an absentee reading. The person need not be present to receive the positive effects of the reading. The reading will be recorded upon request.
What about a reading for my pet? Do they need to be present for the reading?
Pet readings are done as an absentee reading and recorded when requested.
What other types of readings are available?
Our offerings include specialty readings such as house or apartment readings, business and career, health, money, and spiritual path readings.

What if I just want you to tell me what you see?
Readings are most beneficial when focused on specific issues or questions. Your reader can look at your energy system as a whole, check in with how you are running your energy, tell you what blocks they see, and explain how these effects you in present time.
Can you predict the future?
Your reader will not predict the future or give advice. They can, however, look at where you are on your path and what you are working on.
Can you look at my health issues?
Yes, but your reader cannot give medical advice.

What if I'm just curious?
A reading doesn't need to focus on issues or struggles in your life. It can be a place of amusement; there is learning in that as well. For example, you may want to have a reading on past lives alone. Within that reading, you will glean insight regarding how those lives are effecting your current life issues and patterns.
How often should I have a reading?
Readings are powerful healings. It is best to wait at least three months between full two-hour readings. Shorter "check in" readings to monitor progress on one's issues are appropriate.
Yikes, I can't even afford a reading! What should I do?
There are other options such as free reading fairs and lower cost student readings. Please contact us for details or check our Associates page.
